My name is David.


This site is about my ongoing experiments with what I eat (and don’t eat), and how that affects my mental and physical wellbeing.

A few years ago I woke up in the middle of the night choking, completely unable to breathe. That moment sent me on a journey into diet and gut health that has included fasting, the low-FODMAP diet, various prescription drugs, ayurvedic retreats and much more.

This is where I share what I’ve learned — and what I’m still figuring out — in the hope that it helps you on your own journey.
